5 stars. You definitely earned it. I've been listening to this an inappropriate amount, and even though quality isn't very modern, mixing, lyrical flow, transitions, and production make up for it by far.

KleptoidKat responds:

I appreciate your kindness, thanks.

Im glad you enjoyed this piece so much haha.

Q ~~

I gave your review in the chat my "n" word. Love it to pieces.

Xorberax responds:

Ayyyyyy

10/10 would listen again. Great beat, simple enough timing structure to dance to, intricate enough to blast without feeling like you're in a gay bar.

xxxZigZagxxx responds:

Yay! Thanks CoolBerries.

Holy stuff, man! You're a musician! Five stars all the way, this has got to be one of your best works ever, it had the coolest twist with the orchestra/strings, and... It just rocked! I'm supremely impressed, and I'm proud of you, I can't wait to see more!

ShadowKnightmare responds:

i really thought it kinda sucked xD i really didnt expect this review, you bein sarcastic?

You could've ended the song at 5:37, but that's okay.

You know, you really went above and beyond all the rest of your work with this one, it's definitely the best work I've heard from you, you made the right changes of sounds, you had a couple drops and stuff, and you kept to a small range of instruments to transition with. I can still see improvement from you, however, I know I can, because I was once in your spot, but now you're blooming out of that, and you're becoming a musician. I'm very proud of you. With improvements, you tend to keep to the same riffs, except with your drum beats and stuff, so what I would recommend is to add a SEPERATE lead that has a SEPERATE riff that would play harmoniously with the rest of the rhythms, but with this song, it would sound good either way, in fact, I'm sure you could put lyrics on this one, get a singer and make this a big hit. I'll send you some of my stuff so I can give you examples, maybe a few videos of me playing my piano in my dinky little room, to show you where and what I'm talking to you about and such. Good job, man, Mr. Critic is satisfied.

ShadowKnightmare responds:

:D OMG YAY THX SO MUCH I FEEL SO PROUD OF MY SELF

Love it. Very well done, Jay. Made me sad for personal reasons, but I loved every single part of it. Well put-together, and actually sounds very professional. You're a good singer, too.

Jay responds:

I'm glad you liked it. To honest, this is actually one of my more "Upbeat, hopeful" songs compared to a lot of sad stuff I had written during this certain period of songwriting. But I can see how it may stir up some emotions, because it's a pretty emotional song to begin with.

Hopefully I can record some more songs soon!

Errrrf, you got the audio placement, it's just, with the drop via drums, it seemed to take a little too long, and seemed to not be subjective to an 8-beat rhythm and had some excess sound, same with the intro part, but you can make it an exception sometimes. About the intro part, I think you could have used it more throughout the song, at least where the drum/percussion-only parts stood alone, so your listener doesn't have to go crazy waiting and listening for a climax. About that, the chorus-ish was a little annoying, I wasn't really hearing music, I see what you tried to do, but it should at least be on scale to your musical parts (The intro), and that doesn't mean they have to be similar in sound, but they should have a similar mood and/or beginning note on them, so that parallelism may take place between the two different parts. It's a hard theory to understand, but I may be able to describe it more in-depth with you personally. Sorry, me being a pianist makes me picky about some music stuff.

ShadowKnightmare responds:

lol thx for your ideas

... I don't know what I just listened to, but whatever it was, it made me laugh so freaking hard...

Jay responds:

Mission accomplished.

Pretty good tune, but audio placement is killing me, considering on headphones it only plays through the right speaker. Good work, though. Check your pendings on NG social.

ShadowKnightmare responds:

wtf? it works on both headphones for me! o.o
